Jen and I celebrated the New Year together, and we recorded our conversation about The Portfolio Project. Here’s part one of our conversation, along with some pictures from the day. In this segment, we talk about holding onto yourself as a beginner, how we’re trying to leave room for creativity as we go, and a few thoughts about New Year’s Resolutions. Very cool video! So encouraging! Just letting myself be in that “beginner’s mind” place is what I’m working on, and letting that be ok. Exploring what it is I want to create and being patient with the process, and giving myself permission to take babysteps is what its all about for me. Happy New Year to you. 2009 is going to rock.
I really appreciate all of your insights and thoughts about doing this project. They all resonate with me exactly. I’ve finally put together a ’structure’ and a plan for this thing…but allowed room to be creative. Thank you!

This was quite timely for me. I’ve been mulling over these same issues lately. Taking smaller steps, expecting less stellar type results from my self. Just being and allowing my being to feed the project, rather than chasing after a project in order for me to be.
Still just taking it all in.
