hair update

I know some of you are waiting anxiously for the hair update. Curly girls are always looking for the next great hair product, the magic elixir that will once and for all cause us to bless our curls instead of hate them. Others of you may at least glean some amusement from this, who knows?

First I'll begin with a "Before Picture" of a "good hair day" last Saturday. It is so very sad to me now.

Next, add Ouidad's Deep Treatment conditioner (just one use) plus this snazzy heating element.
(It has three heat settings and a chin strap.)

A short miracle later . . .

Aside from the deep conditioning treatment, I didn't do anything differently.
I styled it in the same way with the same styling products as before.
Who knew hydration could make such a difference?
