Roped off to the world

I admire people with hearty dispositions. If bodies were landscapes, mine would be a tender tundra. Even the smallest intruder or climate change can put the whole system out of commission. This week I'm roped off to the world, waiting to spring back to life. I know I am not too far gone, though, when I can still be present to magic and beauty in moments as occasional as the leaf one spots in its fancy dive to the ground. Another day or two should make all the difference.
