The Last Touch of Green
There's a little green left, out my window, or in the park. A few spring leaves cling on while others have dried up, or fallen off. Winter creeps in slowly, getting to these green corners last of all. It's not cold yet by February standards, but still my dry throat is happy to stay in and snuggle up to my winter routines. Making soup, knitting, baking, drinking peppermint tea (or this amazing peppermint drinking chocolate).
Still. We need our fresh air, and we need our friends, to keep our own green corners vibrant.
