a tip-toeing still winter home
where I wrapped myself
in a blanket of stories."
--Liz Lamoreux, Five Days in April
It was almost exactly this time last year when I sat across from Liz Lamoreux at Argot Studios and brought my most sacred listening to the table as a new collection of beauty, wisdom and truth was born.
That feels like another lifetime ago, in a way, as I casually pull her exquisite poetry books and retreat kits off the shelf and send them out the door. As they find their way into your homes, into your hands. As her words weave our hearts into a strange togetherness across the miles like a shimmering gossamer thread.
"i want to write about how the birds sing even when it rains."
